    • Full Day 8:15AM - 2:45PM 

    • Half Day AM: 8:15AM - 11:30AM

    • Extended Sundays​: 8:15AM - 12:15PM

    • Half Day PM: 12:15PM - 2:45PM

  • Rates (online in advance per participant)

      - $129 /day (midweek / non-peak)

      - $159 (Saturday / peak)

       - $86 Half Day 

*Half Days / Extended Sundays are only available midweek / non peak

  • Booking Policy: Book in advance - lessons tend to fill up, particularly during peak periods (however, there are no additional discounts for advanced bookings)

  • Meals: includes snack & lunch

  • Lift tickets: +$10 for Mini Cubs; +$42 day extra for 5 years+

  • Equipment: $30 / $40 (non-peak / peak) extra for equipment including helmet (required)​

  • Hours: 8AM - 4:30PM (Full Day)

                Half Day Morning (mid week only)

                Full Day: $119 / $146 (weekends / peak)

                Half Day: $74 (mid week only)​

                Sunday Morning: $89 (non holiday only)

  • Hours: Full Day, Half Day and 1.75 and 1 Hour options

      - Full Day (6 hours): start at 7:45, 8:30 or
        9:45AM (midweek, 9:45AM only)

      - Half Day (2.75 hours): start at 8:30AM,
        9:45AM, 12PM or 1:15PM

Other Kids Activities 

Snow Tubing

  • Coca-Cola Tubing Park, Sun Bowl, Stratton Mountain 

    • Four lanes of snow-tubing with a warming hut and fire pit, open Fridays, weekends and holidays only (Warning, it can be hard to get the kids to leave)

Ice Skating at the Mill House Pond

  • Open Fridays - Sundays all winter. Skate and then enjoy hot chocolate by the camp fire

Mini-Snowmobiles

  • Children ages 5 and up (under 90 pounds) can have a turn driving a snowmobile around a track in the Sun Bowl (Open Saturdays and holidays)

Group Lessons for Kids

AGE 3 - 4 - Mini Cubs (Ski or Snowboard)

  • Group Size: up to 6 children per class

  • Requirements: potty trained and willing to ski or ride

  • Lesson Focus: introduction to fundamentals, mountain etiquette, gaining confidence, learning to turn and stop

  • Logistics: Drop off and pick up inside Junior Mountain Sports School

AGES 5 - 6 - Little Cubs (Ski or Snowboard)

  • Group Size: up to 8 children (larger groups will have also have a junior instructor)

  • Lesson Focus: Turning, stopping, becoming comfortable on skis, riding the chair lift and gondola and exploring green and some blue terrain

  • Bandits are group lessons for snowboarding

  • Logistics: Drop off and pick up inside Junior Mountain Sports School

AGES 7 - 12 - Big Cubs (Ski or Snowboard)

  • Group Size: up to 8 children per group (larger groups may have second instructor)

  • Lesson Focus: Skill adjusted, covers basics from turning and stopping to different types of terrain; coaches create fun and exciting environment

  • Logistics: Drop off and pick up on the snow at the bottom of the Cub Carpet (look for "Big Cub" flags)

OTHER SPECIAL GROUP LESSONS - YOUTH, TEENS, WOMEN

  • Seasonal Youth Program: Official U.S. Ski & Snowboard Development Site for "regulars" ages 5 - 17. Click here for more detail - USSA

  • First Timer Program: For first time ski or snowboarders age 13+

    • Includes 1.75 hours of instruction, lift ticket for lower mountain and equipment​

    • Cost: $99, per person, upgrade to an all mountain lift ticket for $20

    • Satisfaction guaranteed, if not successfully navigating learning zone by the end, you can repeat the lesson

  • Teen Group Lessons (Ages 13 - 17): Half day only, small group lesson option

    • Morning or afternoon session - ​9:45AM & 1:15PM

    • Cost: $89, per person, lift ticket and equipment are separate

  • Women on SnoW Camps (WOW): 2-Day ski program for women offered on select weekends, led by Stratton's leading female instructors & elite guest coaches; opening reception, demo skis from First Run Ski Shop; $381 for 2 days (lift ticket separate)

  • Burton Girls Time Out Camps: 2-3 Day snowboard program for women offered select weekends. This is unique! Led by Stratton's female riders; $381 for 2 days, $421 for 3 days 

Children's lessons and day care are conviently located at the main mountain base. Advanced recommendations are highly encouraged - Stratton is popular with famlies and program fill up.
