On Mountain Day Care

  • Program: Deer Valley Resort Children's Center

  • Location: Main Level, Snow Park Lodge

  • Ages:  2 months - 12 years

  • Hours: 8:30AM - 4:30PM (Full Day)

                8:30AM - 12:30PM (AM Session Only)​​​​

  • Meals: Lunch (by dedicated chef)   

  • Rest / Naps: as needed

  • Activities: age-dependent - storytelling, art projects, imagination activities, singing, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, play time, toys, reading nook

  • Ski Option: Age 2 and up can do a 1 hour intro lessons 

      - Ages 3 and 4 should consider the Children's Ski 
       School​, where time is split between small group ski
       instruction and day care like activities

* Pro Tip - Deer Valley also has very comfortable lodges where it's easy to watch little ones while some members of the party are on the slopes

Private Lessons for Kids

  • Location: Snow Park Lodge

  • Ages: 2+

  • Lesson Size: 1 - 5 people

  • Level: All-levels, recommended that students are similar ages and ability levels

  • Restrictions: children under age 3 must have 1:1 instruction

      - Maximum of two 4 years olds per group​

  • Hours: Full Day and Half Day options

      - Full Day: 9AM - 4PM 

      - Half Day AM: 9AM - 12PM

      - Half Day PM: 1PM - 4PM

      - Intro to Skiing (8:50 - 9:50 AM)​

  • Lift tickets, meals and equipment must be purchased separately

Other Kids Activities 

Olympic Park

  • Tour the site of the 2002 Olympics, have a guided tour or explore on your own, visit the top of the ski jump

Make S'mores​

  • S'more making at the Montage Deer Valley, nightly fire pit from 8pm -9pm, choose from 5 different types of homemade marshmallows

Group Lessons for Kids

DV Ski School

AGE 3 - Fawn Special

  • Group Size: 1 hour private ski instruction (1 student per teacher)

  • Structure: 1 hour private lesson in morning or afternoon

                    - Spend rest of day in Child Care Center​ with activities such as 
                      storytime, crafts, indoor and outdoor playgrounds

  • Lesson Focus: introduction to fundamentals, gaining confidence, learning to turn and stop

AGE 4 - Bambi Club

  • Group Size: 2 children per instructor

  • Requirements: Must be potty-trained and willing to ski

  • Structure: Ski morning (9 AM - 11:30 AM) or afternoon (12:45 PM - 3:30 PM)

                    - Spend rest of day in Childcare Center with activities such as movement                            and music, story time, art projects  

  • Lesson Focus: Turning, stopping, becoming comfortable on skis, mostly magic carpet, progress reports given 

AGES 5 - 6 - Reindeer Club

  • Group Size: up to 4 children per instructor

  • Ski Time: 10 AM - 3:45 PM

  • Early Drop-off: Available in Childcare Center starting at 8:30am, no extra fee

  • Pick up: Outside on snow

  • Lesson Focus: Theme-oriented activities, mountain scavenger hunts, races and obstacles courses, focus on ski safety fun and learning, progress reports given

AGES 7 - 12 - Adventure Club

  • Group Size: up to 6 children per instructor

  • Ski Time: 10 AM - 3:45 PM

  • Early Drop-off: Available in Childcare Center starting at 8:30am, no extra fee (but ONLY for parents partciapating in early adult lessons)

  • Lesson Focus: Theme-oriented activities, mountain scavenger hunts, races and obstacles courses, focus on ski safety fun and learning, progress reports given

  • Maximum 4 - lessons with a maximum of 4 per group; $200 for half day, AM (9 AM - 12PM) or PM (1 - PM); lift tickets are additional; beginners only for AM session
