PreSIDENT'S WEEK Snow Guide
HISTORIC STORMS AND POWDER ABOUND
Highlights as of 2/13:
  • Alta and Snowbird received more than 30 inches in the last week, in a storm for the history books. Both resorts closed for 48 hours while patrols and crews dug them out. Needless to say the powder is still fresh with another 10 inches forecasted in the next 5 days
  • Taos received 19 inches in the last 5 days and the snowpak is 127% of average
  • Jackson Hole received 21 inches in the last 3 days and is expecting another 20 inches in the next 5 days
  • The Northeast had a snowy week with steady accumulations and more terrain opened at resorts in Vermont and Maine
  • Despite a strong start to the season, snowpaks in Lake Tahoe are below average levels with mostly sunshine in the forecasts
