Ikey’s first thought when devising a new company for his entrepreneurship class project was how difficult it was for a group of friends to plan a ski trip. He was pleasantly surprised to come across Avant Ski, a company that strives to fix that issue for people just like him! Ikey is studying business and psychology at the University of Maryland. As a business development intern, he has helped expand Avant Ski’s partnerships with ski shops in the greater NYC while creating content geared towards college students and Northeastern skiers/riders.

Ikey skied for the first time when he was 8 years old and couldn’t get enough. He attempts to ski as much as he can over holiday breaks, mostly at resorts in the Northeast. He’s keen to spend more time in Utah and Colorado this winter.
