Nestled in a corner of Solitude Village you'll find the unassuming Thirsty Squirrel - the local’s favorite. Swing in here and enjoy enormous nachos, beer on tap, and live music on weekends. The Thirsty Squirrel also serves wine and has a full bar. The atmosphere here is fun but very casual. You can play a round of pool or sidle up to a local and try to extract info about their favorite stashes.

Since the après scene up Big Cottonwood is pretty tame, it may be worthwhile to head down the canyon if you’re seeking more action. The Hog Wallow Pub is located near the mouth of the canyon and often showcases local and national headlining bands. Check here for the schedule. With a huge dance floor, this is a great place to get your groove on.
