Plenty of snow this holiday season
The 2018-2019 season got off to a fast start. Snow in many regions began in November and several resorts opened early for the first time in a decade. Some resorts are fully open in time for the New Year. Colorado's fast start has been sustainable, the majority or resorts are now more than 90% open and fresh powder abounds. Resorts in the Pacific Northwest and Other Rockies have opened more terrain, while warmer conditions in the Northeast have led to some temporary trail closures.
