Our top picks by category

St Regis | Deer Valley Main Base

First, indulge in the hot chocolate bar (open daily from 3 to 6pm). Rich cocoa with toppings - and its all free!  Champagne sabering starts at 5:30pm. The cocktail menu is robust and includes a signature Bloody Mary. The food is tasty too, try the cheese platter and / or lamb sliders. On a nice day, find a seat outside by the stunning fire pit.

EBS Lounge | Snow Park Lodge,
Upper Level

Conveniently located at Snow Park Base. Check your skis and boots overnight (it's complimentary) and head upstairs for drinks and snacks. The large indoor space has TVs for lounging and watching sports and a separate area for live music. On a bluebird day, go for the outdoor seating on the deck. Come hungry, Utah law requires food purchase with drinks - another chance for that freshly baked cookie.

Après Lounge | Montage Deer Valley

This bright orange hut at the base of Empire Mt. is hard to miss. The Montage puts this on in partnership with Veuve Clicquot. Lounge on the sofas and warm up by the fire pits. Veuve flows freely from 12 - 4pm (though you will pay for this premium service and location). Choose your vintage and cap off your day, European style, with a stop here before making your way down the mountain.

Quincy's Frozen Yogurt | Snow Park Lodge, Lower Level

Understated, this self serve frozen yogurt stop at the base Deer Valley, is a treat for children and adults. Fresh, tasty and flavorful - and its yogurt! Huge selection of toppings to make your own sundae - use your imagination and, remember, you earned it!

High West Distillery | Park City

Well worth the short trip to Main Street in Park City. Getting in is the challenge, try to come early as this is the place to be and it does not take reservations. Indulge in brown-spirit based cocktails at the Main Bar. If hungrier, head upstairs to the smaller rooms for Western Mountain Cuisine - bison burgers, deviled eggs, pretzels. Families beware, this venue has a strict 21+ policy.

Seafood Buffet | Snow Park Lodge

Admittedly, a dinner recommendation, but this extravagant seafood feast is not to be missed (unless, you do not enjoy seafood). Crab claws, lobster, oysters, shrimp, sushi - all fresh and presented as if for royalty. There is also an impressive salad bar, soup bar, and save room for dessert. Great for large parties. ($75 per person, children 5 and under are free)

For more options, consider Park City, just down the road.
